Aberdeen, Washington – With summer in full swing, Grays Harbor Fire District 2 is prepared to keep Grays Harbor Fire District 2 safe thanks to a grant from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. The Foundation recognized our need for new lifesaving equipment and awarded us a $13,442.07 grant for Hurst Extrication Cutter.

“We are extremely grateful to Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation and our local Firehouse Subs in Lacey WA. for providing us with this grant,” said Tom Hatley, Fire Chief “This funding will allow us to provide even greater support to the citizens of Grays Harbor Fire District 2 during emergency situations.”

The Hurst Extrication Cutters will be used to extricate critical patients out of wrecked vehicles on our busy highways.
